Sara Bernstein, PhD, will share what she’s learned from her experience as an academic and freelance writer. From finding your voice, to making the pitch, to getting paid, Dr. Bernstein will help you envision how to flip jargon into clear language and share your hard-earned knowledge.

Sara Bernstein is co-founder of Dismantle, an online magazine about fashion, popular culture, and social change. Her work has been featured in VoxBuzzfeed, Inside Higher Ed, and Full Stop. She has also published in numerous scholarly journals and edited collections. She teaches at Pacific Northwest College of Art and earned her PhD in Cultural Studies from UC Davis.
