We are proud to welcome three new esteemed senior faculty members to the Feminist Research Institute's advisory board. In their roles on the board, Joanna Regulska, Raquel Aldana, and Susan Brown will provide key support to FRI's continued work connecting across campus.

Many of you will know Joanna Regulska by the work she does leading Global Affairs. She is also a faculty member of the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies program and is a leading scholar in women’s political mobilization and democracy.

Raquel Aldana recently served as the inaugural Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Diversity, where she created a vision of how UC Davis can become the premier HSI R1 land grant university. She is also a professor of law with expertise in transitional justice in Latin America and immigrant rights.

Susan Brown recently joined the department of Internal Medicine and is an expert in behavior change interventions for chronic health conditions among racially and ethnically diverse women.
