Bio
Dr. Clare Cannon's research areas include studying environmental and climate justice, gender inequality, and health disparities in urban, rural, and disaster contexts. Dr. Cannon has three major lines of inquiry in her research program: (1) examining environmental injustices, risks and hazards; (2) advancing climate adaptation; and (3) investigating health disparities related to resilience, stress, and violence. She uses a diverse array of approaches including community-engaged, quantitative, spatial, and qualitative methods.
