The Feminist Research Institute seeks a 49% graduate student researcher (GSR) for Winter and Spring Quarter to assist with the development, delivery, and assessment of the Asking Different Questions research training program. Applications are due November 3. The Asking Different Questions program teaches insights from feminist, indigenous, and critical race science & technology studies to various research fields. Specific fields of focus for 2022 will be health equity, climate change and sustainability. GSR duties will include implementing and analyzing results from surveys and focus groups, conducting literature reviews, conducting program assessments, and assisting in running workshops.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Training in feminist, indigenous, and/or critical race science & technology studies
• Lived expertise of the impacts of health inequity, environmental injustice and community-based responses to these crises
• Experience with survey creation and analysis
• Experience conducting focus groups and analyzing results
• Experience conducting literature reviews
• Knowledge of research in health equity, climate change, or sustainability

While the ideal candidate will possess experience in all these areas, we welcome applicants that meet at least four of the above criteria.
