Andrea Luna

Andrea Luna (she/her) was born and raised in Southeast Los Angeles. She received a B.S. in Society and Environment, a B.A. in Ethnic Studies, and a minor in Race and Law. 

She became passionate about social, environmental, and food justice during her first year at East Los Angeles College. She joined East Yard Communities for Environmental Justice (EYCEJ) as a community member in 2015 before joining staff. In her current role, she works to build community-based policy solutions that shift away from harmful, industry-centered policies that negatively impact her community's health and environment.

Andrea is dedicated to challenging injustices impacting her community and communities like hers.
