Call for Proposals: Feminist Research Institute Working Groups, 2018-2019
Working groups are an opportunity for members of the UC Davis community to engage in ongoing dialogue about a specific topic, conversation, intervention, or application of feminist research. Groups are expected to meet a minimum of four times during the academic year. The program is open to groups composed of faculty members, staff and/or graduate students that traverse degree programs and disciplines. Each group must have at least one faculty member who serves as the group’s sponsor.
Funds may be used for costs associated with retreats, invited speakers, workshops, or regular group meetings. Funds will be administered as reimbursements for approved expenses that meet the aforementioned criteria, such as materials, lodging, travel or meals/refreshments.

Convener information (and faculty sponsor if applicable), list of participants, and proposed budget. - Project description:
a brief narrative (500 words maximum) describing the purpose of the group and its proposed activities and outcomes. This narrative should address the ways in which the group’s work may advance feminist approaches to research across the disciplines.
