Bio

Scott Tsuchitani is an artist-scholar whose radical art interventions seek to activate audience participation in a collective transformation of racial and gendered common sense.  His work has been shown in museums and galleries in 12 states across the U.S., presented in Europe and Asia, and published in academic journals and books such as AmerasiaWorld ArtQueering Contemporary Asian American ArtRoutledge Companion to Museum EthicsAsian America Through the LensCountervisions: Asian American Film CriticismJapanese Americans: The Formation and Transformations of an Ethnic Group; and Buddhism in America.  He has a PhD in cultural studies and master’s degrees in mechanical and bioengineering.
