Sara De Guzman Molina is currently a 4th year undergraduate student at UC Davis, majoring in Genetics & Genomics and double-minoring in Human Development and Medical Humanities. She transferred here last year after completing her A.S. in Biological Sciences and A.A. in Communications at Contra Costa College, located in the East Bay.
Her initial goal coming into college was to become a Genetic Counselor, but is exploring other areas of interest such as the interactions between the field of genetics & society, genetic/nutritional epidemiology, and community health. Sara's strong interest in how research outcomes are applied to the population is what brought her to the Feminist Research Institute.
Outside of FRI, Sara is the External Affairs Manager of The ASUCD Pantry where she promotes the usage of The Pantry & their volunteer opportunities, and is Co-President of TransferACE, a club for transfer students whose major is nestled within the College of Biological Sciences.
